Dash — Terms of Use

Last updated 20 August 2026

Agreeing to these terms

By creating a Dash account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dash.

What Dash is

Dash records your runs, walks, rides and workouts, keeps your history, and offers training programmes. Some of it is free forever; the training programmes are the paid part.

Your account

You need to be at least 13. Keep your password to yourself — what happens under your account is your responsibility. Give us an email address you can actually receive mail at; we verify it.

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, under Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Subscriptions

The training programmes require a subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play.

What you post — and the rule we do not bend

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store and show it to the people you chose to show it to, so that the app can work.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post anything that is harassing, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, illegal, or that impersonates somebody else, and do not publish another person's location or private information.

Every post, comment, profile, crew, challenge and voice cheer can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any user. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and we remove people who keep breaking them. This is a condition of using Dash, not a preference.

Recording, and your safety

Dash is a fitness app, not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. Training carries risk. Ask a doctor before starting a programme if you have any reason to, stop if something hurts, and pay attention to traffic and your surroundings rather than to your phone.

Distances, paces and effort scores are estimates from your phone's sensors and are not exact.

What we do not promise

Dash is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changing these terms

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Dash after that means accepting it.
